Happy Valentinesday

DSC_0498

It´s not Valentinesday yet, I know, but it is very soon. So I thought what would look really cute and what I could make to inspire you!  I came up with making regular brownies… oh no not regular… I guess the best fudgy and chocolaty brownies ever!!! After baking them I cut out little circles, you can also use heart shaped cookie cutters (which I couldn´t, unfortunately because I lent mine to a friend). Heart shaped ones would even look cuter. Anyways after cutting them out I topped each with a teaspoon of whipped cream and a raspberry. Mmmmh they´re just soo delicious and don´t they just look adorable?  So I hope I could have inspired you to make these for your loved ones or just for yourself! However Have a great Valentines day on friday!

Ingredients for brownies:

  • 250g butter
  • 250g sugar
  • 440g chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tbs. of vanilla sugar
  • 140g flour
  • heavy cream, whipped
  • raspberrys

Pre-heat oven to 175°C. Combine butter, sugar, chocolate and vanilla sugar in a heat proof bowl. Melt combined ingredients over simmering water, stir additionally. When melted, reeve from heat and let cool out a  little bit. Add eggs using a whisk or a spatula until well combined and also fold in the flour. Butter a square pan and pour batter into it. Bake in oven for about 35 minutes. Let baked brownies cool out completely and cut out with your preferred cutters. Place on a serving plate and top with whipped cream and a raspberry. If you like you can also add a little grated chocolate on top.

Enjoy and have a happy Vaneltinesday.

xx
