The other week I made this wonderfully healthy tasting and delicious smoothie. My best friend called it “the orange one” cause all fruit has the same color shade, the papaya, clementine, physalis and carrot juice. The mint leaves definitely give this smoothie a touch of color but also a very refreshing taste. I have generally been loving to have smoothies for breakfast, especially in summer. In winter I prefer having oatmeal or some bread with jam. But once in a while I love to have smoothies after or before my workout routine or just as a simple snack. It´s just zoo delicious (:
These are all the ingredients, you will need:
- 40g physalis
- 100ml carrot juice
- 1/2 mango, peeled
- 1 clementine, peeled
- 1/2 papaya
- 3 mint leaves
- and of course a blender
Remove leaves from physalis. Cut peeled mango into half and remove pit. Peel papaya and scrape out seeds using a spoon. Combine all fruit, mint leaves and carrot juice in a blender and blend until smooth. Poor in glasses, decorate with mint leaves and serve!
Enjoy

Fantastic recipe, I love it! 🙂
Thank you so much!!
Looks refreshing! 🙂
You can also add crushed ice during the summer days, so it´s more cool and refreshing. 🙂
This looks soooo refreshing – perfect for a hot day!
Right or as a vitamin bomb on a cold one 😉
I love the idea of this!
Thank you 🙂 xx
Perfectly refreshing…perfectly delicious ingredients!! Pure sunshine on such a cold and dreary day… just what we need!! Thank you for this! 🙂
Thank you that´s exactly what I thought too! Can´t wait for summer… 🙂
utterly seductive! must. have!
Thanks 😀
such a pretty color. What are physalis?
It´s actually a pretty common fruit here. But I googled it, to get to know it better…it´s a fruit growing in a lantern like husk and are family to tomatoes. Don´t really taste like tomatoes but more refreshing and a little sour but really good once you got used to the taste! 😀
very interesting, thanks!
Yum Yum Yummmm! A big glass for me, please!
Coming up! 😉 it´s really yummy, you got to try it 🙂
I already did & it was superb! x
