Marble muffins

This week I made some really delicious marble muffins. I chose to use my bundt cake recipe for my muffins and they turned out to be very moist and simply delicious. The thing I really like about marble dough is that it is so easy to make with so few ingredients.

This is what you will need

  • 200g butter
  • 5 eggs, seperated
  • 120g powdered sugar
  • 120 g sugar
  • 230g all purpose flour
  • 25g cocoa powder

Mix egg whites until fluffy, add sugar and keep on mixing until stiff. Combine butter and powdered sugar in another bowl, start mixing and add egg yolks. Fold in stiff egg whites my using a whisk. Also fold in flour. Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Stir the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls. Fill your muffin cups alternately up to the rim and bake in oven for about 25 min (temperature: 175°C).
